Who I Am

I am an Iranian-born, internationally acclaimed architect and filmmaker with a passion for creating work that bridges disciplines and delves into the human experience. With over two decades of architectural practice, I have contributed to award-winning projects recognised with prestigious honours such as the Architizer A+ Award, the AR Awards, and the World Architecture News Awards. As a co-founder of Bon Studio, I have led projects in both Iran and the UK, consistently merging artistic vision with innovative design. In 2023, I was privileged to be endorsed as an Exceptional Global Talent by Arts Council England.

Beyond my architectural achievements, I ventured into filmmaking in 2016 with my debut short film, Maman Soori's Case, which garnered international acclaim and was screened at festivals around the world. Through my growing filmography, I have used storytelling as a powerful medium to engage with socio-political themes and explore deeply personal narratives.

I am also deeply drawn to the visual arts, including painting and photography, which have served as lifelong creative outlets and sources of inspiration.

Now based in the UK, I am focused on integrating architecture and storytelling through visual arts and immersive installations. My work aspires to spark dialogue, challenge perspectives, and foster connections through the universal language of art and creativity.
